Very tall/big TWH Gelding
Hands: 16.2 +++
I'm looking for a TRULY 16.2hh or larger TWH for my 6'3" husband. Good
temperament a must, basic training a plus, ready for trail riding
ideal. Mare or gelding, green broke, ready to start, or already
bomb-proof - I will consider all. The most important things to me are
size, natural gait, and disposition. PLEASE - over the years I've been
amazed at how many people claim a horse is 16 hands, and it's only 15
max. Don't want to sound cranky, but please don't waste my time or
yours unless you've put an actual tape to your horse and know for sure
what the real height is. Thanks!!!! :)

In Florida, TWH, Palomino or Buckskin, that is show ready, has head
bob, can trail ride, possibly train for mounted unit. Ground manners
as well as park out to mount. No buck, rear, and not spooky.
Gelding or Mare SSH, TWH or Racking Horse
Hands: 14.2-15.2 I am looking for a sound and sane horse. One that will rack on
(smooth gait necessary) and will walk when asked. I trail ride and
camp on the weekends. I need a horse that is already finished, one
that has excellent ground manners. This horse will be spoiled and

Desperately Seeking Finished Walker
Hands: 14.2-15.2 I need a very well-trained horse (mare or gelding) with a
laid-back temperament. I prefer the slender type walker because I'm
short and don't feel comfortable on a massive horse. Preferred age
8-15. My requirements: easy to catch; respectful on the ground (leads
well, not pushy or heady, picks up feet willingly); stands still for
mounting and any other time I ask; walks out calmly and waits to be
asked before gaiting; has a smooth, collected canter; is safe for
beginning riders under supervision; and comfortable on the trail or in
the arena. I'm not fussy about looks but good conformation is a must.
I know my criteria are strict. I've spent countless hours and tanks of
gas checking out horses advertised as "safe," "calm," or "easy-going."
The most recent one dumped me in the dirt. I can pay a fair price for
the right horse. western oregon
