Penny is a beautiful, black 14.3
hand four year old mare. She is extremely calm, personable, and easy
to ride. Her smooth gaits are very easy to maintain; look at the
video. Penny is appropriate for all riders.
Penny was born and raised on our
property. She has always been a very pretty black. Stephanie, our
trainer has developed Penny and she has done a wonderful job. Penney
is one of those horses that has always trusted the people around her
and always actively wanted to be in a space to get attention.
In regards to ground work and
manners, penny loads effortlessly. She clips, washes, shoes,
hobbles, high-lines, and ponies beautifully.
Has Penny been in the mountains?
Yes many times and is a safe enjoyable partner on the trail. She
crosses rivers and creeks, goes up and down banks, and goes off
trail willingly. The many hours of riding really makes her a fun
partner.
Penny at four is 14.3 hands and
will most likely stay at that height or possibly grow to 15 hands.
She would make a good endurance horse for a small person, but would
not be a good choice for a large person.
Lastly, her Prides Beam breeding on
the top and Skywatch/Ebony’s Masterpiece breeding on the bottom give
you a great mare with great foundation breeding to work with.
Mostly, Penny is a great calm,
friendly trail companion that you will immediately connect with and
grow with
