Equine Reproductive Services works from a genuine
interest in the Tennessee Walking Horse & its long heritage. We believe in
striving to produce and maintain the highest quality individual horses
possible, and by so doing, to improve the entire breed.
Our
goal is to set a standard for naturally gaited walking horses by
creating a well researched breeding program.
We maintain this program in our
first class, state of the art Stallion and Broodmare Facility. Which
spreads over 60 acres in beautiful Pine Mountain, GA.
Easily accessible our facility is just 1 1/2 hour SW of Atlanta off
I-85 and in close proximity to Alabama and Tennessee.

We are always happy to provide an estimate as the cost may
vary as each mare is evaluated. Estimates can be given before any services
are provided.
Mare Boarding Charge
Pasture: $10.00 per day (dry) $ 12.00 per day (wet)
Stall: $12.00 per day (dry) $15.00 per day (wet)
All mares must be current on Vaccinations, Deworming &
have a current Negative Coggins.
Stallion board $20 per day
For Stallion owners we offer
Stallion Phantom Training
Phantom training consists of teaching the stallion to mount a "phantom"
mare and ejaculate into an artificial vagina. The stallion is collected
one time the first day, and then on two occasions, one hour apart on the
next day, or day after. The first of the 2 collections is discarded,
serving only as a "clean-up". The second and third collections are taken
at least one hour apart, and both samples are evaluated for sperm
concentration, motility and morphology.
Training Includes
Training of stallion to phantom mount
Training cost per stallion $200.00 per session
Once the stallion has been collected it is advisable to
evaluate the ability of the stallion's semen to ship in an Equitainer,
cooled. The semen is evaluated & extended using several different
extenders & concentrations. Samples are then packed in the Equitainer &
evaluated at several different times: 24 hours, 48 hours & possibly 72
hours.
