Bonita passed away humanely at Purdue University after suffering a brief illness which proved to be metastatic lymphoma. We did all that we could for her but the cancer was too aggressive. She did not suffer but became very neurological in just a few hours. The final autopsy proved a malignant lesion that affected her brain.

She is horribly missed. You could hear her call across dozen of acres when she thought she was missing her baby. She was an awesome mare and is sorely missed.
