Pinefolly Farms presents for
consideration the three year old buckskin filly Lady's Got the Gold.
Bucketta was bred and foaled here at the farm, sired by the noted
cremello stallion
Chance's Goldmine M.F., and out of our homebred daughter of
Red Bud's Rascal, Red Bud Lady Scarlet, known around the barn as
Molly. We knew this filly was special the day she arrived, and we
purposefully waited until she was three before sending her to a
trainer for saddle work.
Marty Lowe did his usual thorough
job with Clinton Anderson techniques that taught the one rein stop,
stressed flexing and suppling, and the sending forward that forms
the basis for ease in loading. The filly was ridden alone and with
other horses. Now she is back home where the emphasis is on gait
development.
Lady's Got the Gold is a beautiful,
rare buttermilk buckskin with frosting still in the mane and
foretop. She has inherited her sire's thick double mane. In
appearance, she is a golden version of her mother, who matured
between ages three and four at 15.3 hands. While the filly may not
be quite as tall, she is long legged and elegant, very stylish under
saddle. She has an attractive head, a nice ear, and the strong bone
structure that is the trademark of the Heritage Tennessee Walking
Horses.
While Lady's Got the Gold is still
too green for a beginning rider, she has the basics in place to make
a wonderful trail mare. She leads, loads, clips, and comes when
called while the halter is in view. She stands quietly for saddling,
bridling, mounting and dismounting. Her bloodlines are rare enough
to complement any breeding program.

Here is a unique opportunity to own
a colorful young Heritage mare that is started under saddle and
developed enough to breed either this fall or in the spring.
