When she weans her 2009 buckskin filly, who has been sold!
Dixie foaled a big, beautiful
buckskin filly on 6-6-2009. We have named her "Gambler's Golden Diva
WF" ("Diva" for short).
This lovely young mare is truly
exceptional. Not only is she one of the most well-bred buckskin
mares in the country, but she is also one of the nicest mares around
in terms of conformation, disposition, and gait (regardless of
color).
Dixie's conformation is excellent.
She has a great deal of substance to her body (especially for her
age - she is a 2002 mare) without being coarse. Her legs are
straight and strong. Her hip is superb, her back is short and
strong, shoulder is large, and neck comes out high. She has a
beautiful head with large, kind eyes, keen ears, and a tapered
muzzle. Dixie's color is lovely - a smooth, creamy gold - and she
has no markings.
Dixie is a very people-oriented
horse. She is very affectionate and eager to please. She is an
intelligent mare with a good mind and outlook. She is incredibly
easy to work with and accepting.
